Here’s how COVID-19 will affect your property as well as tips to prevent infection and resident panic:

Assure residents that lockers will help to prevent infection by reducing physical interaction between property staff, carriers, and residents, and encourage residents to wash their hands as often as possible. Wipe down the touchscreen daily with a slightly damp microfiber cloth or electronics-specific wipe to disinfect.

Encourage residents to use the Luxer One Mobile App which allows residents to collect their package without using the touchscreen.

More residents will work from home. Many businesses are encouraging employees to work from home even if they are not sick. This will likely increase ecommerce delivery as well as food delivery. Make sure you are auditing your smart lockers or package room to make sure you have plenty of space for new deliveries.
