The 2020 Canadian e-commerce report that has been recently released by Canada Post states that eight of ten Canadians shopped online in the previous year, while eMarketer estimates spending at $65 billion in 2019 – rising to almost $108 billion by 2023.1 Thirty-two per cent of Canadian online shoppers say they plan to buy more online in the coming year.
